Set against the dramatic backdrop of Central Oregon’s Cascade Mountain Range, Sweeping Views reflects a deeply personal interpretation of modern mountain living. Designed for longtime clients whose roots trace back to a multi-generational logging family in Vernonia, Oregon, the home draws heavily from the values, materials, and landscapes that shaped their story. Every detail feels connected to the surrounding environment, balancing organic warmth with refined sophistication. 

Natural materials anchor the interiors with a sense of authenticity and permanence. Oregon Black Walnut beams, leather lounge seating, sculptural lighting, and artisan plaster finishes create layered texture throughout the home, while expansive windows frame the mountain landscape as a living part of the design itself. A cinnamon mohair sofa and shaggy silk rug introduce softness and comfort, allowing the space to feel elevated without sacrificing intimacy.

What makes Sweeping Views particularly compelling is its ability to feel both deeply rooted and effortlessly contemporary.
